UEG Consulting is an environmental consulting firm that offers streamlined and customized solutions for complex environmental compliance issues. Specializing in wastewater and stormwater compliance, engineering evaluations, soil and groundwater remediation design and water sustainability-related projects, UEG offers over 30 years of combined engineering experience to help businesses across various industries meet their unique environmental regulation challenges.
The company was the brainchild of industry veteran Erik White, who recognized the need for a more personalized, end-to-end service that offered a white-glove approach to customer service. With decades of experience working with environmental consulting firms, he noticed that the bigger the companies became, the more diluted their client focus and support. Customers’ needs were not being met in a timely manner, communication was lacking and there was little in the way of a personalized approach. With a desire to help customers achieve their environmental compliance goals in a more meaningful way, UEG Consulting was born.
The name UEG refers to Uncle E Group—inspired by a nickname given to Erik by his two nieces. The team offers specialized expertise across a range of industries, including glass, iron/steel and bulk chemicals manufacturing, coke production, rum production distillery operations, oil refining, food preparation, manufacturing assembly plants, plating operations, power generation and more.
Erik White, UEG’s owner, earned a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and an MS degree in Environmental Engineering from University of Michigan. He is a licensed professional engineer in New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware. Erik’s resume is attached here.
